What is the water vision for 2050?
Water is essential for the survival of all plants and animals. There can be no life on Earth unless there is water. Because water accounts for 60% of our bodily weight. Water is used by our bodies in every cell, organ, and tissue to assist control body temperature and sustain other vital processes. Because our bodies lose water through breathing, sweating, and digesting, it is critical to rehydrate and replace water through the consumption of fluids and the consumption of meals containing water.
Is our world changing? How does it affect the environment?
Yes, the world evolves with the passage of time.
The world is becoming more acquainted with all scientific discoveries and new technology. However, as the globe evolves with the passage of time, the most important aspect of the planet, namely the eco system, is being left behind (water, air, nature).
Close your eyes and envision what the year 2050 would look like.
What do you notice? Cars that fly? High-rise structures on calm green lawns surrounded by gorgeous flowers? Do you frequently anticipate the future and sigh with satisfaction because you assume it would be free of all modern-day concerns such as pollution, confused waste, and poverty?
Sorry to bust the illusion, but the true 2050 would be the polar antithesis of all of that!
Assume you wake up and walk up to the window. There isn't a single tree with leaves on it. You make yourself a cup of tea in the morning and turn on your kitchen's 10 layer filter water purifier. All of the untreated chemical residues discharged by industry have found their way into drinking water sources, making your water purifiers smarter, better, and more expensive.
The least affluent segments of society must either adapt or suffer from poor drinking water quality. Why don't they just bring the water to a boil?
If only natural gas was less expensive. That is also a privilege reserved for the wealthy, who must bid in auctions held just to subscribe to natural gas!
You consider yourself fortunate since you were born into a family that could afford these things. You go for a walk outside your house to walk along the seashore, or so-called seashore. You've become accustomed to witnessing the carcasses of aquatic animals, which used to disgust you as a child.
You may have read in your history books that the colour of the sea is colourless, but it seems blue due to the colour of the sky. The sky is still blue, but the water has a pale green colour and is mostly covered with foam. By the way, no one eats fish anymore!
Plantations are now done because wastewater runoffs have sadly damaged and poisoned soils.Because of the same reason, a very high quality pricey meal is supplied to farm animals that need to be taken care of with tremendous care and control so they don't run away to 'contaminated nature' and wreck the farmer's company.
How does that make you feel?
I haven't even predicted how your skin will appear now. All of the chemicals you use to clean your houses have gradually affected your skin to the point that the term "skin colour" is now synonymous with "green."
This is what the year 2050 will look like. And we are already making preparations for such a future.
You know, the solution isn't far away; it's directly in your hands, within the dirt you stand on.
If you've not figured it out yet, let me enlighten you on the earth's oldest residents, and I'm not talking about cockroaches.
The solution lies in bacteria, and we, along with others, are taking tiny measures to avert the future projected up there.
Netsol Water along with other water and wastewater treatment companies, is a promising sector that can be our only chance for a secure future and existence.
