What is the Process of Screening?

Water passes through a series of stainless-steel screens when it enters a treatment plant or other facility.

The alternative approach is to pump the water into a tank where it is aerated and mixed with microbes to break down the remaining debris. The residual liquid is piped to a new tank and aerated again before being combined with chlorine to eliminate any lingering bacteria.
