7. Clarifiers:      

Clarifiers are used to separate the solids from the sewage. The commonly used clarifiers in STPs include sedimentation tanks, dissolved air flotation tanks, and inclined plate settlers.                       

8. Sludge treatment equipment:          

Sludge treatment equipment is used to treat the sludge that is generated during the treatment process. The commonly used sludge treatment equipment in STPs include belt filter presses, centrifuges, and drying beds.
