Earth is burning and we are the flames!
Earth is burning because the temperature is rising and the climate is changing rapidly. The expansion in temperature also affects the economic future of communities and overall countries across the globe. If the temperatures increase like this, all the nations have to face the consequences of climate change.
The world economic outlook of October 2017 shows that the results of higher temperatures are not equal everywhere. The outcome of burn affected low income countries who couldn’t afford it. The global surface temperatures has increased and getting to its peak which has never happened in the past 20000 years.
The rough calculation has suggested that increasing temperature of 1®C in a country with an annual temperature of 25®C as Bangladesh, Haiti, Gabon will reduce per capita output by up to 1.5 percent, a loss that will go on for at least 7 years. If we don't realize how much we are harming, this will lead us to increase in temperature close to tenth of the per capita output of the median low income country by the end of 21st century and we will also bear lower agricultural output which will reduce the productivity of workers, slow investment and destruction of human health.
Why is Earth burning?
- a) Fact of increasing wildfire each and every year
- b) Thunder and lightning without rain
- c) A huge capacity of woods burn down every year
- d) Largely due to greenhouse gases produced by human activities
How are humans responsible for the rise in temperature?
- a) Because of anthropological activities
- b) Revolution of industrialization
- c) Burning fossil fuels
- d) Deforestation of forests by humans rapidly
- e) Increasing livestock farming
As humans are the cause of the temperature rise, it is our responsibility to take care of our mother earth before it's too late and before our planet gets into new era of crisis. It is far better to stop avoiding it and get started by taking little steps to make Earth a better place for us.
