Water is used extensively during the process of producing electricity. Burning coal, oil, liquefied natural gas (LNG), and other fuels produces steam that is used to turn turbines, and produce electricity in the thermal power production process.
This type of generating is essential to supplying electricity because it can adapt quickly, to the various ways in which power is utilized.
Use of water in Thermal Power Plants
In a thermal power plant (TPP), water is utilized for a number of purposes, including the boiler, cooling system, and systems for managing coal and ash. The cooling system consumes the most water overall. Systems for treating water are essential for ensuring plant stability.
Thermal power plant facilities use water treatment equipment’s like saltwater desalination systems, and condensate demineralizers when a significant amount of steam is needed. The industrial sector also needs water, particularly when producing commodities.

How can we assist?
Netsol Water is a well-known and reputable water treatment plants, and ETP supplier and manufacturer for thermal power plant industries. We also supply various equipment’s for air pollution control. Netsol goes above and beyond to provide long-lasting water and wastewater filter systems to various industries.
Many contaminants are released into the water by manufacturing industries. Such contaminants are gradually eliminated at water and wastewater treatment facilities, in order to raise water quality to a permissible level for release into public water zones.
Use of water treatment plants in thermal power plants
Water handling in thermal power plants is getting more and more complicated. Reverse osmosis, membrane bio-reactors, and forward osmosis membrane, are examples of contemporary innovations that can be helpful.
Our innovative effluent treatment, and wastewater treatment method uses fewer chemicals, uses less energy, and produces water that meets the most recent pollutant disposal regulations, and process reuse application criteria.
