WHAT IS A SKID MOUNTED RO?

• 1. Skid-mounted reverse osmosis systems are designed and manufactured to provide adequate water for various uses and industrial process requirements. They cover all areas of application and are treated with a suitable pre-treatment to avoid contamination of the membrane by sediment, hardness, organic substances, bacteria, silica, metal oxides or even chlorine. By providing clean, pure water for a variety of needs, skid-mounted reverse osmosis systems are suitable for all purposes and increase productivity.
• 2. The skid-mounted reverse osmosis system is a system designed and manufactured to remove salts, minerals, and others. With the help of the skid mounted reverse osmosis system, the water can be freed of impurities by removing hardness and then by reverse osmosis. The removal of hardness occurs when the ion exchange resin adheres to the hardness of the water, preventing you from moving to the next step. Then the sodium chloride removes the attractive force of the resin and releases the hardness that drains out. The next step in reverse osmosis is the process in which tremendous pressure forces the water to do the opposite of its natural tendencies. The natural occurrence of "osmosis" is when the water with a lower concentration of salt moves towards the water with a higher concentration by passing through a semi-porous membrane that initially separated them. Reverse osmosis is when pumps apply high pressure that forces the high-concentration saline solution into the lower-concentration saline solution. As the saline solution is forced to the lowest concentration, a semi-porous membrane captures the unwanted TDS (total dissolved solids) and lets the water in.

As mentioned, all these options can be customized to meet customer needs. Brackish water desalination systems, for example, are all skid-mounted and can also be combined with a continuous electrode ionization unit (CEDI) to give the resulting water a highly pure quality. Other customizations are also available, such as the addition of systems to adjust the pH of the water and remove iron and manganese.
