Water is required for survival!
The amount of fresh water on the planet is finite, and its quality is under constant threat as a result of growing development. Raw water quality must be maintained not just for drinking purposes, but also for food production and other water applications. The presence of infectious agents, poisonous substances, and radiation risks can affect water quality.
What is deteriorating our waters?
1: Insufficient planning, design, and construction, as well as inadequate operation, maintenance, and water quality control, are the main causes of water quality degradation in distribution systems. A considerable amount of the burden of waterborne and water-related sickness has been connected to this.
2: Rapid urbanization, population growth, and ageing infrastructure put additional strain on these systems, exacerbating the difficulties.
What are the types and characteristics of RO membrane?
Reverse osmosis is a water purification method that uses a semi-permeable membrane (synthetic liner) to filter out pollutants and big particles like chlorine, salt, and soil from drinking water. RO, in addition to eliminating sediments and pollutants, can also remove microbes, which we don't want to drink. RO purifies water, down to the molecular level, thus leaving only pure H2O.
Atlanta-based “Centers for Disease Control and Prevention” has published a Guide on Drinking Water Treatment, which shows that the reverse osmosis process can remove and eliminate small/all pollutants, contaminants in water, protozoa, bacteria, viruses and chemicals in an extremely efficient manner.
Sodium chloride, copper, chromium, and lead are among the main pollutants (metal ions, aqueous salts); arsenic, fluoride, radium, sulphate, calcium, magnesium, potassium, nitrate, fluoride, and phosphorus are also reduced.
RO Membranes come in a variety of shapes and sizes!
Commercial RO membranes are made up of:
1: Cellulose acetate and an aromatic polyamide. Thin film composite membranes are another name for aromatic polyamides.
2: CTA (Cellulose Triacetate), itis a paperby-product membrane that is connected to a synthetic layer which requires very less quantity of chlorine in a water source to prevent bacteria from developing on it.
3: Because chlorine causes irreversible damage to a thin film membrane element, a TFC (Thin Film Composite) membrane built of a synthetic material requires chlorine removal before water enters the membrane. These membranes are more durable and can withstand temperatures greater than cellulose acetate (35°C).

Why must you prefer RO treatment and pre-treatment?
Reverse Osmosis (RO) water filtration is one of the most popular and cost-effective water filtration systems available if you're seeking for great-tasting, fresh drinking water for your house or company. RO water filter works by forcing water through a semi-permeable membrane and thus flushing impurities down.
