Commercial Ro Plant: The Working Process
A commercial RO plant removes all pollutants from water, allowing it to be used for a variety of commercial purposes. Commercial reverse osmosis plants, which are found in places like shopping malls and hospitals, are thought to be the most cost-effective water treatment method. It purifies the water by removing impurities such as non-essential metals, caustic salts, and chemicals.

In general, Pre-filtration (micro filtration and activated carbon adsorption), purification (Nano, ROlow), and post-filtration(re-mineralization) are the three phases of complete solutions. Under-sink purifying/filtration machines producing between 100-165 lt are sufficient to give drinking water of excellent quality to a yacht's crew, owners, and visitors, or 50-130 lt for a family/office, while leaving a small environmental imprint. The fourth and final step of distribution offers convenience.
a. PRE-FILTRATION (aims to protect the purification membrane)
Adsorption filter and micron filter are used to remove hazardous particles, a string wound filter element with a pore size of 5 micron is sufficient. The chlorine is adsorbed by an activated carbon (AC) filter, which removes the odour and taste.
b. PURIFICATION (the purification step)
Water without waste advises Nano or low RO filtration to eliminate the pollution mentioned above. Technically, it's the same process as a watermaker, but at a lower pressure that's good enough for fresh water.
c. POST FILTRATION (re-introduces essential minerals)
After purification, the permeate is slightly acidic (depending on the quality of the raw water) and chemically tasteless. The permeate is passed through an 8 mm mineral cartridge to achieve a healthy alkaline pH level over 7 (Ca, Na, K, Cl, Mg, Fe, Zn, Cr). The permeate picks up these minerals based on your water pressure and flow rate, and creates healthy and delightful drinking water.
