WHAT ARE CONTROL PANELS?
The Control Panel is a Microsoft Windows component that allows you to see and modify system settings. It is made up of a series of applets that let you to install or remove devices and software, manage user accounts, change accessibility options, and access networking settings. Every unit, including a RO system, includes a control panel.A control panel aids in the operation and operation of an entire RO plant.
DIFFERENT TYPES OF CONTROL PANELS
The virtual control panel, the remote control panel, and the physical control panel are examples of control panels. Almost all of the same functions can be performed using these control panels. Control panel functions can be performed from a PC using the remote control panel and virtual control panel.
1-PHYSICAL CONTROL PANEL
The physical control panel is your system's first point of contact. The physical control panel can be used to execute tasks like completing an initial programme load (IPL) and turning on and off the system. The complexity of control panel operations ranges from status indicators (such as IPL speed) to low-level service tasks that only service agents have access to.
2-REMOTE CONTROL PANEL
The remote-control panel allows you to use control panel functionalities from your computer. The remote-control panel's graphical user interface resembles that of the physical control panel.
3-VIRTUAL Control panel
You can use control panel capabilities through a PC with the virtual control panel.
USAGE OF CONTROL PANELS IN RO
-Continuous measurement systems using sensors to collect information in real time and act or accommodate any scenario are now recommended these days. Fouling caused by chlorine, redox, water hardness, (by pressure differentials), temperature, pH, turbidity, and electrical conductivity of oils are all factors to consider.
-A programmable automaton oversees the operation of the electrical equipment, valves, sensors, electrodes, pumps, and other components of the installation, as well as the process of starting, operating, halting, and alarms.
-A synoptic chart is included with the 3D graphic representation of the equipment, which includes pilots and diodes in the design, as well as indications of the equipment's condition of operating, stopping, or failing. The treatment plant's control equipment has a remote station with SCADA or GSM for remote observation and management of the facility.
-Control systems do not necessitate highly trained employees, ensuring that they are simple to handle and operate.
1- Data digitization for plant remote monitoring and control
2- Plant specialists benefit from the digitalization of data since it allows them to anticipate and respond to problems, ensuring optimal maintenance
3- Real-time monitoring of all data
4- Reports are securely sent according to frequent requirements, are always accessible, and have a history
5- Touchscreen services
6- Plants can be controlled remotely
Over the time, control panels have become a necessity in every field which is operated by huge machines and large resources. Higher and complex equipment’s are required to be controlled and observed by these control panels only.
