What are Mist collectors with a spiral tube?
The Spiral Tube Mist Collector's cutting-edge design offers the highest level of mist and oil collecting efficiency, in a mechanical collector. Due to the cheaper cost of filter maintenance, these machines have a lower lifetime cost of ownership than alternative filtration mist collectors.
Netsol’s Spiral Tube Mist Collector's air processing complies with air quality regulations, for both exterior exhaust and in-plant discharge. Climate control expenses can be greatly decreased by recirculating clean, filtered air into the workspace.
Design of a Spiral Tube Mist Collector
The primary mist removal step of the two-stage Spiral Tube Mist Collector does not require filter media. The spiral tubes allow a high level of mist aggregation and removal without employing filters. The method for removing mist is provided by centrifugal force and impaction.
A fluid film is produced as the contaminated air is accelerated down multiple spiral-shaped impaction tubes. Oil runs off into the bottom of the collector. The second stage HEPA type filter, which is normally rated at a minimum 95% efficiency at 0.3 micron particle size, is where the air changes direction 180 degrees.
It is ideal for use with water-soluble, synthetic, or mineral coolants during productionoperations.
Elimination of Mist & Oil Re-Entrainment
After the main stage, the cleansed air won't re-entrain the pollutants that were collected, because of the mist collector's distinctive internal architecture. This increases the separation process' effectiveness, and increases the lifespan of the optional final filters.
Resources used in construction
Heavy gauge mild steel and stainless steel are used in the construction of the spiral Tube Mist Collector, to ensure years of effective functioning. Rugged durability is provided by welded seams and built-in lifting hooks.
Type of HEPA Filters
Specially made HEPA-type fibreglass filter cartridges are an optional final filter system, for the Spiral Tube Mist Collector. At 0.3 micron, these filters are often provided with a 95% efficiency rating. Because, the bulk of airstream pollutants are eliminated by the spiral tube stage, final filters have a long service life. There features a slide-out design for simple filter removal.
Features of mist collectors with a spiral tube
1: For all serviceable regions, there are large, simple-to-open access doors.
2: On the collector's outlet side, a fan with a direct-coupled motor or a "V" belt drive is provided.
3: It operates in silence. If necessary, rubber isolator fan connections and sound attenuators are offered.
4: There are integral differential pressure gauges that can tellwhen filter maintenance is necessary.
5: To satisfy the unique needs of the customer, complete electrical controls are offered.
There are numerous configurations
With a variety of options available, our Spiral Tube Mist Collectors can be tailored to fit individual requirements, and offer optimal effectiveness in any application.
Low-profile, smaller footprint compact spiral tube mist collector
The Compact Spiral Tube Mist Collector combines mechanical separation's cost and maintenance-saving advantages, as well as a low-profile, small-footprint design that conserves floor space and lessens integration and layout challenges, in contemporary manufacturing facilities.
