Quality of supply water in Industrial RO Plants
Depending on the source, the supply water may contain varying quantities of suspended particles and dissolved materials. Inorganic particles, colloidal particles and biological contaminants like as bacteria can also be found. Highly soluble salts, such as chlorides and sparingly soluble salts, such as carbonates, sulphates and silica, can make up dissolved matter.
What is pretreatment in Industrial RO Plants?
The amount of feed water is reduced during the RO process, while the concentration of suspended particles and dissolved ions rises. Suspended particles may deposit on the membrane surface, obstructing feed channels and increasing system pressure drop. Salts that are sparingly soluble in the concentrate stream may precipitate, forming scale on the membrane surface and lowering water permeability through the RO membranes. Membrane fouling is the creation of a deposited layer on a membrane surface of the Industrial RO Plantthat causes the RO system's performance to deteriorate.
Aim of pretreatment
The goal of the feed water pretreatment is to raise the quality of the feed water to a level that allows the RO membranes to operate reliably. It includes:
1: Water softening which reduces hardness.
2: Anti-scalant or scale inhibitors.
3: Sodium bisulphite/activated carbon filters to reduce free chlorine.
4: Cartridge filters to remove any remaining suspended particles.
Applications of Industrial RO Plants
We as Industrial RO Plant manufacturers, provide a comprehensive range of plants. Our industrial reverse osmosis plants are meticulously customised and configured to meet the precise requirements of the output water, which range from commercial to industrial applications such as food processing, medicines, boiler feeding, textile, sugar mills, paper and pulp mills, slaughterhouses, printing sector, tanneries, steel industry, etc.
Industrial RO Plants Flow range
Pre-filters, chemical dosing and antiscalant dosage are all included with these systems. Our Industrial RO Plants come in the flow range of 50 LPH, 100 LPH, 250 LPH, 500 LPH, 1000 LPH, 2000 LPH, 3000 LPH, 5000 LPH, 6000 LPH, 8000 LPH and 10,000 LPH. Higher flow rates are custom-built to meet the needs of the customer, with substantial pre-filtration units to handle the harsh water.
